Jakarta, 25 March 2024 – PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (“ICBP” or the “Company”) today announced its financial results for the year ended 31 December 2023. ICBP posted 5% growth in consolidated net sales to Rp67.91 trillion from Rp64.80 trillion in the previous year.
Income from operations increased 8% to Rp14.39 trillion from Rp13.38 trillion, and operating margin expanded to 21.2% from 20.6%. Without taking into account the non-recurring items and forex, core profit, which reflects the underlying operational performance of the Company grew 27% to Rp9.27 trillion from Rp7.31 trillion.
Anthoni Salim, the President Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICBP, said: “Despite global challenges and weakened purchasing power in the lower-income sector, I am pleased to report that ICBP has adeptly maneuvered through the market dynamics to secure both top line and profitability growth. Looking ahead, the Indonesian economy is expected to demonstrate resilience, where we aim to balance top-line growth with profitability, while maintaining a robust balance sheet. Moreover, we will continue to closely monitor the global macro environment and react accordingly in the implementation of our strategies”.
