ENERGY MANAGEMENT

At ICBP, we primarily focus on improving energy efficiency and transitioning to cleaner energy sources.

We have adopted the ISO 50001 standard to establish an Energy Management System (EnMS) and promote energy efficiency. We are working to build capacity among our operating units to implement the standard, and are improving data collection and establishing energy consumption baselines following ISO 50006 guidelines.

Energy Managers at each unit monitor energy performance, and internally-certified Energy Auditors conduct audits, identify energy-saving opportunities, and drive their implementation. These initiatives include optimizing boilers, steam generation and distribution, and electrical systems in various electrical motors and compressed air systems.

We also use ISO 50015 guidelines to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented actions and related key performance indicators to ensure the reliability of our energy performance. Our efforts in energy management have been recognized both internationally and by the Indonesian Government.
