Good to Go from Indomilk: The First Multi-cereal Milk in Indonesia For Active Young Urban People Through-out the Day

Jakarta, January 30, 2019 - Subsidiary of PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur (ICBP) Tbk, Dairy Division the leader of liquid milk producers in Indonesia, offers Indomilk’s Good to Go, the first multi-cereal milk drink in Indonesia. Good to Go was developed as a nutritional support for the activities of young urbanites who continue to want to excel in work [and play]. Launching Good to Go's new product is marked by introducing two proud Indonesian badminton athletes, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonatan Christie as brand ambassadors.

Young urbanites aged 20-35 years are active generation, motivated to work and perform. Their activities last from morning to night, full with ideas and high mobility. The demanding activities of young urbanites requires energy that must be maintained. Non-caffeine drinks, cereals, chocolates and fruit such as bananas and berries are foods that can prevent tiredness and restore energy.

Jonathan Setiawan, Senior Brand Manager of Liquid Milk of Dairy Division, said that "Good to Go from Indomilk is the first multi-cereal milk drink in Indonesia. The product is made from fresh milk and oats, brown rice, malt and wheat. Looking at the composition, Good to Go has low fat content as well as high sources of fiber and vitamins B1, B2, B3, and B6, which is needed by the body to continue to energize and function. With the two best variants, bananas - strawberries and chocolate -avocado, Good to Go is the right choice for young urbanites who want to stay energized and continue to Go all day".

Go Generations with urban lifestyles, are increasingly aware of the importance of maintaining body-health, by exercising one to three times a week in the middle of a daily busy schedule. Coupled with their need to travel, surely young urbanites need extra energy that can be obtained from additional intake of nutrients from their normal daily consumption of food and beverages.

Related to nutrients required, Dr. Juwalita Surapsari, MGizi, SpGK explained, "Carbohydrates are the main nutrients the body needs as an energy source. However, the existence fiber in food sources as complex carbohydrates such as oats, brown rice, malt and wheat, causes glucose to be released slowly from carbohydrate digestion, to produce a steady and constant energy source for our body. In addition it can also bring a feeling of satiety and long term health for the body.”

"Whilst vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B6 as well as minerals such as calcium and phosphorus also assist in producing the body's energy source, a selection of the right food and beverages will also support our body to always be energized. Therefore always choose food or beverages that contain complex carbohydrates, proteins, and vitamins and minerals," added Dr. Juwalita Surapsari.

On the same occasion, Indonesian top badminton athlete, Jonatan Christie revealed that, "As athletes, we have strict and routine training times as well. There are solid tournament schedules throughout the year, hence our daily life is focused on improving our games on the field and also performance records for each match. Therefore it is very important for us to pay attention to nutrient intake in order to maintain our prime physical conditions."

In connection with the launch of Good to Go multi-cereal milk, Indomilk held a campaign – #Go Terus, to present to Key Opinion Leaders, who will share the knowledge of how to be a Go-Go Generation who is active, continue to excel in work [and play]. In addition the #GoTerus campaign will also fascinate visitors with a variety of game challenges, entertainment, attractive product package and instagramable photos on 30th January – 3rd February 2019, at Laguna Atrium Central Park Mall, Jakarta. All activities for this campaign will be supported by content variety on the @goodtogo_id, the roadshow activities will also be featured on the TVC Good to Go shows.
